According to him, the contribution is part of the company’s pledge to donate cash and consumables worth N700 million to states to reduce hunger during the lockdown.

“The donation is in line with Nestle’s commitment to enhance quality of life as well as contribute to a healthier future.

“Nestle will continue to play its essential role of ensuring the uninterrupted availability of food and beverage products to Nigerians.

The Secretary to State Government (SSG), Dr Tammy Danagogo, received the items on behalf of the state government.

Danagogo thanked Nestle for becoming the first fast-moving consumer goods company to support the state government’s efforts on COVID-19.

“It is highly commendable that without any prompting, Nestle has proved to be very good corporate citizens by reaching out to support us in this very difficult times,” Danagogo said. (NAN)
